textiles incorporate natural dyeing, soya resist,block printing and painting techniques.
For dyed pieces I make botanical dyes from plants in my garden and use soya resist to create patterns which are dyed into the fabric, whereas the printed textiles are block printed on top.I mix both techniques and also paint on the textile. I tend to print squares 50cm-1m but have some larger pieces.
